Business Communications
In this project, we were encouraged to explore our local community and raise awareness of a social need. My group, which included four classmates, chose to join the fight to close the internet divide. We focused on a predominantly low income school that was not meeting state testing standards. Our social need showcases significance because of the public support from Congress, the Governor of Texas, and also the Mayor of Dallas. The outcomes of this project included a professional 15 page project portfolio, a group presentation supplemented by Microsoft PowerPoint, and a room of approximately 40 college students that are now aware of the disadvantaged students just 20 miles south of campus.

Principles of Marketing
In this project, I worked with three other classmates to construct a marketing plan for a local company. I chose this company amid the plastic bag ban in the city of Dallas early 2015. I saw this as an opportunity for this company to gain a large market share and as a topic relevant to our audience. As a group, we researched and evaluated the company, existing competitors, and potential market gains. From our research, we were able to construct a strategy. I had personally reached out to the actual company explaining the project and asked a few questions that were not well defined on their website. The company was happy to answer my questions and ultimately implemented some of our ideas into their current website.

Work Samples
I have provided a variety of work samples I had completed throughout my education at the University of Texas at Dallas. I chose these particular samples because I felt they showcase a wide array of skill sets, competencies, and appreciation for different areas of study.
